Trax Sports (USA) in conjunction with Tip-Off Sports Vikings present Skills & Drills Camp. This camp provides athletes the opportunity to improve athletic abilities, build relationships, develop confidence and have fun. Skills & Drills Camp focuses on the fundamentals of basketball using circuit training and stations to enhance speed & agility, shooting development, team play, defense and more.

He is the founder of Trax Sports, former Athletic Director and Coach. He brings a great deal of experience directing some of the most exciting camps. He travels around the world hosting unique camps and introducing players to new drills for all players at every level. Coach Smith has partnered and worked with athletic youth programs in the US and over eleven countries.



He is a nationally acclaimed track and field and cross-country coach and local youth sports expert. He focuses on athletes speed and agility. He has been a teacher, coach, and community leader in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area for the past two decades.



Former college player brings a history of playing experience. Coach Gardner Trax Sports, South Carolina basketball Director, provides players on the court direction and 1 on 1 court focus.



He brings a wealth of experience and expertise in basketball coaching and administration. Having worked with the South African National teams at various levels for over a decade, coach Clem has seen it being done at various levels. He has worked at high school, university and sports club level having coached professionally in the BNL.


Head of Basketball at St David’s Marist Inanda and founder of Tip-Off Sports Vikings basketball club, Coach Ukpong brings a history of teaching, coaching, scouting and managing the game. Coach Ukpong gives the athletes a wealth of expertise from a player, coach and scout perspective. His recent success includes leading the professional team Soweto Panthers to a national championship in South Africa.


A former All America player out of Div 3 Christopher Newport University USA, Coach Steven Butler has a lengthy and deep understanding of the game of basketball. The Virginia native, now Johannesburg resident, has served as Technical Director of the Tip-Off Sports Vikings Basketball Club for the past 4 years. In addition to those responsibilities, Coach Butler has coached teams on the developmental level to the adult leagues. Most recently as Head Coach, he led the Soweto Panthers of the BNL to their sole championship in 2018 in the Pro league.


Coach Booba has been with the Vikings coaching staff since 2016. He has been a great asset coming from the University of Cape Town with such great experience in coaching and conditioning. With a FIBA Level Two qualification, coach Booba has a lot of experience with youth basketball having coached at many levels including the Western Cape Provincial U16 Team. Coach Booba recently moved to Johannesburg and has settled in with his wife and kids.


High performing athletes are invited to participate in our International Select Camp. The International Select Camp
focuses on polishing basketball skills, perfecting team play, and understanding game strategy. Athletes compete in
scrimmages and have 1-on-1 interaction with U.S coaches. International select camp participants will improve
skills, increase knowledge and gain exposure. A maximum of 10 players will be selected to tour to the USA and attend camps where they will have the opportunity to be exposed to basketball programs abroad.
